IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL ATHLETES: The Blytheville School District's athletics banquet will be Monday, May 7, beginning with dinner for all the coaches and athletes in the Blytheville High School cafeteria at 6 p.m. Awards will be presented to the athletes in the BHS Auditorium at approximately 6:45 p.m., and parents are invited to attend the presentations.
Due to the high level of interest, the deadline to sign up for the trip to London, Paris, & Rome has been extended! Our new principal, Mr. Matt Swenson, met with several groups today as he toured and mingled with students and faculty. I wish everyone could hear the comments these students were making...they truly love our school and are so proud to be a Chickasaw!!!
Blytheville High School JAG Seniors received their ropes during the honors ceremony at the Career Development Conference in Little Rock. Other JAG members went along for the Career Development field trip, as well!
Mr. Garcia's Business Management class held presentations today to showcase their plans for new business ideas for Blytheville. Ms. Margie Arriola, from Farmers Bank and Trust, came to lend an ear and offer ideas for strengthening their plans.
Our BHS JAG students (Jobs for American Graduates) just received some very good news!
Ms. Ashley Moore is this week's Golden Goose winner!! She is very deserving as noted by her colleagues:

Mr. Sydney Moncrief and Jackie Govan, both with the EOC Fatherhood Initiative, visited our school to present two of our students with graduation plaques. Isaiah Richardson and Jaquon Fowler both completed the program under the guidance of Robert Ousley, and was celebrated with a host of friends and family.

BHS students help raise over $93,000 for the American Cancer Society, by participating in Dancing for the Cure! Mississippi County Arkansas is fifth in the nation for raising money for American Cancer Society...first in Arkansas.

SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS, are you interested in pursuing a medical degree? TAKE NOTICE:
Project H.E.A.R.T. is open to students entering the 11th or 12th grade with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
This is a four day, three night residential medical camp. There is no cost to the student and it will be held on the campus of Arkansas State University June 12-15, 2018.
Students can submit their application by mail, fax, e-mail, or through the link below. All applications are due April 5th, 2018.
