
The acceptance letters are continuing to roll in for Senior, Ma'Kheila Jones! Congratulations on being accepted into 12 colleges! Ma'Kheila is a great example of how hard work pays off and awards you many choices!


A journalist from the PBS network visited our school today to interview Laurissa Campbell. Laurissa was asked to share her story of heart ache and determination on and off the basketball court. Her story will be aired at the state basketball games in February. We hope to share a link to watch the interview soon. We are proud of you, Laurissa




Mike Sullivan, with Florendin Farms, worked with senior JAG students informing them about the different career opportunities available in agriculture.


Arkansas Tech University Recruiter, Kristen Smith, met with Junior and Senior students during last week's Connections Day, explaining admission requirements, scholarships and programs available on the ATU campus.


ANC Solutions group along with Courtney Fisher, ANC Director of Admissions, spoke with students about different internship opportunities available upon graduation. Representatives from D&L Inc., Kagome Foods and Atlas Tube (Zekelman Industries) joined ANC representatives.



Congratulations to Senior Destiny Marshall! Destiny has been accepted into 12 colleges, and plans to major in biology. Her future plans are to attend medical school and become a pediatrician. Interact Members Grant Langston, Lizzie Langston, Bailee McCustion, and Connor Frazier waited tables for the Hunt for the Cure with Duck Dynasty’s Al Robertson and Ms. Kay.




Ms. Middlebrook and Ms. Valley both spent time in Ms. Haynes and Pierce’s class discussing their accounts of the 1970 integration of Harrison and Blytheville High Schools. Our students were able to get great insight into how school life was 48 years ago in Blytheville.



Environmental Science class did a lab today on Thermodynamics. Lots of great stuff going on in Ms. Wright's class!!!

Regina Alexander, with the Arkansas Department of Health, spoke with our girls from GRACE about making smart choices with their diet and exercise.


What a great day for Senior High All-Region tryouts. Congratulations to Dominique Moody, Alexis Nichols, and Mathew Walker for making the All-Region Bands!!!!
