Members of Mr. Garcia's Financial Literacy class had a fun time today playing "Financial Jeopardy" against a few of the faculty members. Faculty members proved to be a little too tough for the students in 2 of the 3 games, but the students definitely did a great job!!

Would You Like to be a Teacher? Sharon Coburn, the Teacher and Recruitment and Retention Facilitator for the Crowley's Ridge Educational Service Cooperative, is partnering with us to host a "Becoming A Teacher" session on ANC's campus to help with the severe teacher shortage in Arkansas. The purpose of this session is to encourage people to go into a career in teaching. ANC Education Director Ryan Perkins will be encouraging prospective teachers to enroll in ANC's teacher education program, and Sharon will be explaining the alternative teacher licensing routes to individuals who already have a bachelor's degree. The event will be Wednesday, May 8th, from 3:00-6:00 p.m. in the Community Room in the Center for Allied Technologies.
